Designing for a Cause
This year I had the opportunity to give a little back to the community I live in. In September 2009 I found myself in a meeting with Sarah Klingenstein, Community Outreach Coordinator at People’s Health Clinic and before I knew it I was volunteering to completely rework the clinic’s web presence and replace their antiquated site with a spankin’ new design and build. I recently launched a new site for my freinds at Allen’s Masonry. These guys rock both on a personal level and as a client. Who doesn’t like creative freedom; rational, clear direction; and a couple of beers now and then to take the edge off. I was lucky enough to be able to handle every facet of this project from design and photography to copywriting and project management.
AMC been killing it for a number of years now and never got around to documenting any of their work to present to the world. This year, they decided to do both so not being afraid of a camera, I picked up mine and started in. Then I set out to showcase it all on the interwebs. The process keeps on going as we add more photos of their many projects and you can check it out first hand here. Below are a few images that made it into the site and a few that didn’t but I like anyway.
