I recently was out in Colorado to shoot a few locations for my friends at AMC. Fortunately the Academic Classroom Building at Mesa State is situated just right in the valley to catch that morning magic and I was fortunate to come home with a few gems.
I recently launched a new site for my freinds at Allen’s Masonry. These guys rock both on a personal level and as a client. Who doesn’t like creative freedom; rational, clear direction; and a couple of beers now and then to take the edge off. I was lucky enough to be able to handle every facet of this project from design and photography to copywriting and project management.
AMC been killing it for a number of years now and never got around to documenting any of their work to present to the world. This year, they decided to do both so not being afraid of a camera, I picked up mine and started in. Then I set out to showcase it all on the interwebs. The process keeps on going as we add more photos of their many projects and you can check it out first hand here. Below are a few images that made it into the site and a few that didn’t but I like anyway.
Sometimes, you do things that you don’t normally do, but friends is friends so they say. I usually don’t shoot the wedding circuit nor do I aspire or claim to be a wedding photographer, but occasionally the question does come up. Heather and Jake were great and a lot of fun to work with shooting a quick shot for their wedding announcement. We shot about 100 frames, and I have to say, the edits were pretty hard. They were naturals in front of the camera and it really made my job easy. It almost looked as if they really liked each other – hmm.
